Armed Protector Combatives

Armed Protector Combatives is a reality-based training program from Apex Combat Solutions designed for responsible civilians and armed professionals who understand that carrying a firearm is only one part of personal protection.

The course focuses on what happens when an encounter is too close, too fast, or too chaotic to simply rely on your firearm. Students develop practical skills for managing physical confrontations while carrying, with an emphasis on maintaining control of themselves, the situation, and their weapon.

Training covers firearm retention, close-range combatives, grappling and control, situational awareness, conflict management, and realistic scenario-based problem solving with Sims or Airsoft Training Weapons. Students learn to protect access to their weapon, fight for dominant positions, recognize when disengagement is possible, and make better decisions under physical pressure.

The curriculum combines combatives, weapons integration, and scenario-based training to bridge the gap between traditional martial arts and firearms training.
