Designed for individuals who carry a firearm for protection or work, EDC Combatives is a comprehensive full-day course focusing on close-range combat skills. Participants will acquire the necessary hand-to-hand techniques to defend themselves, safeguard their weapon, and effectively use it in close-quarters confrontations.
Course Overview:
Identifying & Managing Potential Threats - Discover how to utilize communication to de-escalate a potentially violent situation, recognize early warning signs exhibited by attackers before they strike, defend against common assaults, and effectively strike to create an opportunity to escape or implement further strategies.
Standing Grappling - Acquire a street-tested clinch system that empowers you to control a standing assailant while reducing the chances of being struck, having a weapon used against you, or having your own weapon seized, positioning you to escape safely or deploy your weapon if necessary.
